Together with Italian textile maker Ramfil, who is developing fabrics for outdoor furniture, the Parx technologies have been added to their yarn materials. Tests following ISO 846, testing with fungi’s like Aspergillus niger and Chaetomium globosum have shown that the Parx technologies outperform the biocides that were used by the company at that time. Showing a better performance against discolouration and mould growth which is consequently leading to a longer durability of the product. Changing to the Parx technology the company also moved to using more sustainable composition of their product marketing the new materials under the newly developed brand Ramprotex. Read more…
